3. Jocelyn K. Glei

Jocelyn Glei has great advice on how to take control of your life especially when using the internet. She wrote a book called “Unsubscribe” where she talks about dealing with email anxiety, avoiding distractions, and getting more done. She’s made it her mission to help people dictate how they spend their time and not let online distractions get in the way. Topics include creativity, productivity, email, and mental health.

4. 99u

99u is Adobe’s career blog to help people build their careers in the creative industry. Adobe is a powerhouse in the content space with super popular software like photoshop, lightroom, premier, and their pdf reader. Their blog is a great resource for career advice, entrepreneurship, and achieving work life balance. 6. Asian Efficiency

Asian Efficiency is one of the best productivity blogs out there and their podcast “The Productivity Show” is top notch as well. Getting more done in less time is the main focus of Asian efficiency. They also know that there is no perfect formula to being more productive that works for everyone. They provide universal principles and a wide range of tips to help you figure out what works. Full Focus is the Business and Productivity coaching company founded by Michael Hyatt. The Full Focus team puts out consistent high quality content for their readers and you’ll be able to get something out of it no matter where you work. They teach you how to filter the unnecessary parts of work out of your life so that you can focus on the things that matter. A major focus of this blog is helping you get the things done that you need to at work without sacrificing your home life. Topics include productivity, entrepreneurship, and team leadership. 

8. Life of Productivity 

One of the most fun parts of Life of Productivity is their productivity experiments. If you ever wanted to know what would happen if you used your smartphone for only an hour a day or if you only drank water, or if you woke up at 5:30 AM every morning. The author Chris Bailey, has great insights on what really has the potential to make you more productive and what is just smoke.  

9. Order of Man 

Order of Man is a great men’s blog and podcast by Ryan Michler. Reading about productivity is only going to get you so far. You need to apply the things you learn in these blogs.

Sometimes we mistakenly think that reading about being more productive is a productive activity. While it certainly can help to read other people’s advice on being productive, it can also be a huge waste of time. You need to read and then try out the advice you were just given. 

If you feel like you are always learning and planning, but never acting, try reading just one blog post a day and testing it out. Resist the urge to keep reading.
